About us【Kano Lab】

We are developing new imaging methods to detect and explore molecular information in living cells and tissues using various nonlinear optical signals through the interaction of light and molecules. In particular, “spectroscopic imaging,” which combines imaging techniques with spectroscopy, can reveal the structure and subcellular localization of various molecules without labeling. As a further development of this research, we aim to extend this technique to medical applications such as pathological diagnosis and disease diagnosis.
